Dojo 1.6.1rc1 is now available.
1.6.1rc1 contains many fixes, with a special focus on IE9 and FF4 support, browsers released just after Dojo 1.6.0 was completed.
Please test 1.6.1rc1, especially against IE9 and FF4 browsers, and send us your feedback and/or file any bugs you find. April 20, 2011 is the target release date for 1.6.1.
Getting close to releasing 1.6.1?
Why DOJO, one of the best JS frameworks, has that bad documentation.
Could you be more specific? We generally improve everything that’s suggested to us, so please give direct feedback. Have you checked out http://dojotoolkit.org/documentation/ ?
I think documentantion is quite good. Unfortunately when I have some project made with dojo 1.x (and everything works properly) and then I try to update dojo framework there are many errors…
I do understand it’s realy big project and it’s not that easy to test everything. But why the diffrences are so big? ;/
What is more – can I use it?
http://dojotoolkit.org/reference-guide/dojo/store/JsonRest.html
If so – how?
OK, JsonRest works with dojo 1.7 🙂
But when I tried it once it didn’t with dojo 1.6. maybe it was my mistake in this case.
Awesome guys , i am sure dojo has a big way to go and i will be using dojo from now on-wards will keep jquery aside for sometime.
Keep it up you got atleast 1 permanent user
