Following the instructions on http://dojotoolkit.org/book/book-dojo/part-3-javascript-programming-dojo... gets me nowhere. The test page displays the dropdown date picker, but not the calendar widget.
I tried it with local dojo, AOL-hosted dojo, various combinations of stuff baked into the 0.4.3, no luck in any combination (though the errors vary).
For the version like in the docs, in firebug console, I see the following errors:

When I tried to update my application from dojo 1.0.2 to dojo 1.1.0rc1 version i encountered a problem.
I am retrieving the grid data from a servlet using the dojox.data.QueryReadStore.
When I am trying to sort the table in the client side using clientSort=true all the grid data disappear and
I stay with an empty grid
The same code is working on dojo 1.0.2 version.

I'm very desperate since I upgraded to dojo 1.1 release.
Since I did this I got an odd bug within some dijits like
DateTextBox and FilteringSelect.
I'm trying to trace it back for about 2 weeks now but I cannot
figure out why it occurs. The symptom of the dijit-bug is that
dijits are collapsing sometimes after re-initializing, so that
the dijit itself is only visible as a flat stroke (from the borderline).
It is not possible at all to use it like this.

Has anybody got any documentation of using the new features in dojo 1.1 the dojobook 1.0 looks old now.

They say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, and I agree. I had the
pleasure of running an experiment writing an identical widget in Dojo, jQuery,
and Prototype, and naturally ended up at the script.aculo.us
website. Its one of those elegantly simple involving websites, where even if
I noticed the other day that the dijit 1.1 priorities are up. Is there soon to be dojo 1.1 priorities posted? Any release dates for dojo 1.1? We're using 0.4 to do development right now due to portal (it's the only reason) due to the fact we'd need 1.0 and 0.4 to run concurrently without frames/iframes. We've hit a pivotal point in development that we could switch over to 1.0 if and only if the dojo namespace collision is addressed (ticket #4573). I'm just writing to see if there is any movement in that direction so we can plan to include 1.0 or to permanently continue on with 0.4.
