Grid inlineeditor max size

Hi guys!

Does anyone knows how to programmatically set the maximum length of inline field grid cell? I tried everything and don't have any more ideas.

I browsed all over the forum and didn't find any answers on my question ... I really would like to know, how can I validate the cell fields on grid ... So I would like to notify user when he extend the max size of field...
