Hi,
I was able to resolve a problem with cross domain chat example on jetty 6.1.8 and dojo1.1B2.
I did it by a small change to /dojox/cometd/_base.js as explained in http://groups.google.com/group/cometd-users/msg/5b50846fdbee4bd7

Alternatively, I could have fixed the problem by a change in org.mortbay.cometd.AbstractBayeux.
I don't know enough about the bayeux protocol to say whether this is a bug in dojo or in jetty.
Do you guys know?
I'd be happy to raise a bug in dojo-trac if you want.
