We use the website ning.com (a social networking site that is written using Dojo). It works perfectly on one campus, but the same PC, same username etc on a different campus (different firewall/cache server) loses some, but not all, functionality. Neither the guys at ning.com (can't replicate the problem) nor our support guys (don't care/don't know enough) can help.
Any ideas?
Desperately yours.

Without knowing how your campus' firewall and proxy servers...
...are set up, we have no real way of telling you why this happens. We wrote the library working with common principles, in conjunction with some of the most extensive setups (the loading system was developed primarily by a developer at AOL, for example), in an attempt to not have issues like this.
My guess is that your campus has some draconian firewall and/or proxy settings, and ning is using some comm that is being caught by it.
