I have created a really simple dashboard widget (for Mac OSX) that contains the dojo book and API reference. Actually, it's just links to the actual pages.

It even uses dijit.Tree and dojo.data.ItemFileReadStore!

I hope it's useful. Let me know of how I can improve it...I'm no dashboard widget expert - I just threw it together in Dashcode.
