While we're on the topic of OSCON, I figured that it was worthwhile to mention a few of the more interesting sounding SVG Open talks, namely: Layout Managers for SVG, Theme Mountain, and SVG Forms. The Layout Managers for SVG sounds like it was inspired by Cameron McCormack's work on SVG with constraints. Why is this interesting to Dojo? Well, while SVG is not currently a first class citizen of Dojo (meaning that at the moment just about everything is broken in the Adobe Viewer, and we haven't done any real testing with the Firefox Deer Park Alpha releases), that is going to change fairly soon, hopefully in time for the launch of Firefox 1.5. At least that is one of my goals.
